Has anyone ever worked with PGN data for live chess? - PGN Mentor

I can get the data into XPression by reading their files as just text.  And I feel good that I could play around with visual logic and get it to separate each move out into its own text box.  But it just seems like the juice is not going to be worth the squeeze, and it is just going to be easier to do my own excel sheet and manually type everything in, or maybe a dashboard panel.

What do I want to do with the data to start, unsure.  Early on, maybe just a way to display out the moves onto an LED screen. - Later on, if that gets working, maybe rebuilding an entire chess board in XPression and having the data drive the pieces moving on the board.  That way I can recreate a chess board onto any surface that can take live video.
