  • 1.  Populate a crawl using a Dashboard table?

    Hi,

Is there a way to populate a crawl using a table from Dashboard?

I know that using an Excel file, you can use the <n> increment and it works great, as follows:

However, what I want to do instead is drive the crawl data from a structTable in Dashboard. Unfortunately it does not look like it is as easy as this:
That doesn't work as far as setting the data. I can't just set up the exact amount of scenes I would need because I don't know how many rows of data there will be, and it will be constantly changing how many rows there are. Is it possible to use the N-increment with Dashboard like this? Or do I need to abandon this idea?

Have you tried laying the data out in XML tree and doing it?

That seems to work as far as linking the data, but building scenes from <n+0> to <n+9> the crawl does not work well at all unless there are exactly ten. Anything over or under and it doesn't seem to function the way that pulling from an Excel does. I may just have to abandon this idea and go back to using Excel.

    Thanks for the response!
