I have a Lower 3rd that shows in-game stats and in the Scene Director that animates it on, it hits a pause and on hitting take again the stats go away and in comes a bio. However, now when I am in sequencer, my preview channel is only showing the L3 with the bio. In that same Scene Director I have a preview frame set during the pause (just after game stats reveal and before bio takes over.) I have also tried setting the scene director as default with still no luck, where am I going wrong?

In Sequencer, on the TakeID item, look under the Scene Control tab (next to Template Data). There is a Preview Frame setting there too, and if you have changed your Preview frame since copying the scene into Sequencer, it might not have updated, so it's not at the frame you expect. Either change it, or copy the scene again.
