  • 1.  Recalling a TouchDrive Panel State

Is there a way to recall a TouchDrive layout as part of a custom control?  I work at a University where we encourage kinetics learning (students play with everything and I encourage them to figure things out on their own).  This method has had AMAZING outcomes, but the downside is students often get stuck in a menu so I have reset buttons on most of our gear to get them back to a "normal state".  With our new TouchDrive, students keep changing which MEs are assigned to which rows and it is messing up the classes after them.  I would love for my reset custom control to also send some commands to TouchDrive to put ME P/P as the lower rows and ME1 on the upper rows.  Is this possible?   I know I can do this through a Set, but I am hoping for something simpler that I can assign to a single button on the board.

    Hi,

We added this recently with the release of version 7.  You will find it under the Insert Event - Special - Row ME Assignment.

If You have 2 ME Rows then Row 1 is at the Top of the panel and Row 2 the Bottom.
