Hello, working with my IT department so we can begin using a control room remotely, and this is what they suggest for connecting to the switch that has all of the Ross gear connected to it: In an existing DMZ created for the Granicus video encoder that is in the control room, they would add a jump box with two NICs, one for the DMZ and one for the internal Ross gear (plus an EEG caption encoder and some other equipment). After confirming that this works, they would add CAL licenses for the rest of the staff who will need access/control.
Wondering how this approach sounds to someone who's doing this remote work already?
I know we'll need to use Team Viewer for running Xpression. Are there other components, or factors, that I'm missing? Planning to access with both Mac and Win OS.
Thanks for any suggestions!
