working with a MOS workflow that uses two Xpression Engines driven by the Remote Sequencer. My goal is to completely avoid using a mouse and rely solely on keyboard shortcuts.
I've attempted to set a keyboard shortcut to "Swap Channels" (specifically, to swap Channel 1 and Channel 2) within the Remote Sequencer interface. I have assigned a shortcut, but it is not working as expected. When I press the assigned key combination, the channels do not swap.
Could you please help me troubleshoot this issue? I need to find a way to perform this action using only the keyboard.
System Details:
-
Software: Ross Xpression v12 build 5958
-
Module: Remote Sequencer v12 build 5958
-
Operating System: Windows 11 Pro
-
Hardware: Two Xpression Engines
Steps Taken:
-
I navigated to the keyboard shortcut settings in the Remote Sequencer.
-
I located the "Swap Channels" command.
-
I assigned the shortcut F1
-
I confirmed the assignment and closed the settings window.
-
I then tried to use the shortcut during my workflow, but it had no effect.
Any guidance on why this shortcut might not be working or alternative methods to achieve a keyboard-only channel swap would be greatly appreciated.
