Default is always played.
You can have a script that changed which the default is but I'd personally just have a script that fires the appropriate scene director.
Are the render views within the same scene <OWNER SCENE> or different scenes?
The scripting will be way simpler if you are using OWNER SCENE rather than separate scenes.

Subject: Render view - Default scene director? Transition logic combination?
Hi there! Been a while since posting again now.
I have a SE tessera sollution, and I wanted some fog like border on some elements to sometime be visible on some tessera regions, other times not, but when visible on two regions that is physically next to each other, I wanted that smoke view to be in sync and seamless. Solved that by making a scene I use for render view, and different sections of that one scene is allways in sync. It looks seamless and awesome.
My questions However are:
- When a scene goes online in the shape of a render view. What scene director is triggered? The default one?
- Is it possible to de ide what scene director should be triggere based on what scene the render view is in (if that made sense)?
- Can I trigger scripts like "on Online" etc in the scene that is in render view?
