  • 1.  Ross Dashboard Rosstalk GPI listener bug

    I am using Rosstalk and GPI triggers to link multiple custom panels on difference machines together. I have found that I have to turn the global GPI Listener setting off, close preferences, reopen preferences and turn it back on again for it to work after a program restart. Is this a known bug or is there a way to get around this?

    It sounds like multiple ports for RossTalk are configured and the restart eventually favors the one used by the panel or preferences. In the panel there is the option to dedicate a RossTalk port, if this is also set to 7788 it'll conflict with the server port for Dashboard preferences giving odd and intermittent behavior. Check the panel for configured ports on 7788 and change this port from default to stop attempts to share the port.
