  • 1.  Ross Vision Hard drive failure?

    Hello everyone! I recently was allowed to take home a Ross Vsion 2 me switcher, when attempting to boot it up, I'm getting a "file system error" and it's asking for a root password, does anyone know this password by chance? also how would I got about replacing the hard drive and get Operating system etc loaded, this unit is not going back into production use most likely,mainly for training etc. any help is welcome!

    This is on the panel your seeing this?  and you have a frame for it as well?

    If this is the panel it could be a Compact Flash Card that needs replacement and then you can make a bootable USB to install the most current panel OS on to it..

    you will need to contact support and start a ticket for them to supply you with the required OS Recovery image and software upgrade files as they are not on the website directly.
