  • 1.  Rosstalk MEM command Syntax

Hello community, i am working on writing some commands on companion via the Rosstalk plugin.

I have a simple need where i just need to recall Memory 9 on Bank 0 on both ME1 and MiniME 1.

My command works as far as controlling and recalling that memory on ME1, however i don't know the syntax for getting a MiniME to recall as well.

The Syntax i have found is :    MEM bm:MLE    (Where 'b' is bank, 'm' is memory, : 'MLE' is my ME.)

I have written.   MEM 09:1   (This successfully recalls the Bank 0 Memory 9 on ME1, however im not sure what the translation is for MLE " MiniME1"

New code i would assume looks like.   MEM 09:1:?

Let me know if anybody can help out, Thanks!

    Hi Damien,

All of the info about supported commands is located here:
    https://help.rossvideo.com/carbonite-device/Topics/Protocol/RossTalk/CNT/RT-CNT-Comm.html#topic.SmartGPI-Send-Comm.dita

However specifically this capture from the page will address your need though the example has ME 2 not 1 in it..

That worked like a charm, and Link saved/bookmarked.

    Thanks Les.

Sorry if I hop in on such an old thread. But I'm having a similar situation, and I wasn't able to find the precise answer by looking at the documentation.

What i need to do, is to recall a memory on all bank of my switcher; what I've found until now is how to recall one miniMe at a time, not all together, like when you have the "all" button active on the console.

What is the correct line that I'm missing

    Thanks

You are saying that by sending a RossTalk message with no modifier it is not recalling all MEs/MiniME memories?

Or are you asking about control from a control surface?
