A custom control on a carbonite will only stay lit while it is running. So if the custom is short, you will not see it lit up for long. - If the custom is on a button that does not have a physical button on a panel, then you will not ever see it lit up. - If it has a hold built into the custom, then you would see that button flashing obviously. - You can also have the custom control window open to the carbonite in a dashboard and you can see the numerical of how many customs are currently running. And you can see that go to 1 or however many you are trying to fire.

Figured it out. Found out that the Custom Controls were firing but I didn't see the change of the buttons on the Ross so I thought they weren't working.
Is there a way for the Ross Carbonite to show what custom control is active when a command from another board or ProPresenter fires a command?

Just learning what ProPresenter 7 can do with RossTalk. In ProPresenter I created a new slide with an action to RossTalk device with a custom control. In the custom control box I put 0103 for bank one custom control 3. When I click on the slide the Ross lights up bank 1 button 3 associated with the custom control but does not fire. Before I try building a GPI shortcut, is there something I did wrong in my custom control? The button on the Ross works, just not the ProPrenter slide. Thanks
