  • 1.  Scene not playing back properly.

    I have a simple scene which displays Team 1 versus Team 2. The scene has 2 animation controllers,  one controls the back panel and the topic and logo, the other is for the teams logos and names animating in. I have the teams set up with a dynamic materials where the user can select teams from a drop down list.  In the scene director I have a pause at the beginning  then back panel controller followed by the Teams In controller. Problem is when I fire the scene it pauses but the logos appear  then when I fire again the animation seems to be playing underneath. I must mention that I have the Quads for the logos set to render on top because they were rendering behind the back panels.  Any suggestions are welcome.

    Off the top of my head, it sounds like you have the pause in the wrong place. You have one animation controller that animates the back panel on, and should pause. If you then hit the animation again, the scene director should continue on from that pause and the logos should animate on. On your scene director, right click and add an event (pause) on any track. I usually use a blank track for my events. Slide it to the correct position and it should pause. If you can send a screen grab of your scene director, we can look at what you have.

    Maybe set your team logos' alphas to zero, and turn them on in your Teams In controller?

    Thanks all...solved it by just having one controller. Weird but everything behaved perfectly after that. Thanks!

    I know you fixed it, but did you try the Layer Order? On my scene, I had multiple scene directors and Layer groups, and this is how I fixed it when it wasn't displaying correctly.
    Just a thought =)
