I was using a simple script to add parenthesis and percentage signs to text.  Now it is not working.  Here is the script, errors and text it used to work on.

Your script looks fine, it's not the best answer I have but perhaps make a new text object, put the same font on it and add the script and see if that fixes it. Delete the broken one.

it was compiled right away. 

I see you have global method errors there as well, what are you using there?
