  • 1.  Sony FR7 Tally Control

    Hello All,

    I am attempting to get our Carbonite Black Plus to trigger tallies on our Sony FR7 PTZ cams over IP.  I have tried configuring using device control on the panel itself but am having no luck.  Has anyone else set this up with FR7s or any Sony camera?  Any help would be greatly appreciated.   Thanks very much!

    You might want to post this one in the switchers community. This community is more focused on Ultrix, openGear, and Ultricore Tally.

    We had to install one HUB-DSPv3 UMD/TALLY/Multiviewer Crosspoint system controller for Tally communication between the Sony XVS6000 mixer and the Ross Ultrix-fr5 matrix, since there seemed to be no direct compatibility between the protocols of both devices.
