I'm taking advantage of being in the area to ask all ULTRIX users a question...

I had a very unpleasant surprise recently! When I wanted to rename a source, I did a sort by name to find it quickly. But when I pressed "apply"... all the IDs were completely messed up... sorted by name and no longer by physical entry! Everything went to hell: the salvos, the GPIs, the source categories, etc. And of course, the last database backup is old. Everything had to be remaped by hand!

That's a scary reaction from the router, isn't it?

Hi Stephane,

Resorting of ID's was removed a few versions ago for this exact reason. You now can filter and sort by column without affecting your ID's. If you do need to change the ID's you now have to go into the menu and select "reset IDs" intentially
