yeah you can go to sequence and change group settings from manual to timed.

My first stagger animation exercise was with a rasterized logo that also includes text. That's where I stumbled upon the issue. I then used the simple text only for error searching and demonstration purposes, so that I don't post anything that violates copyright or similar issues.
Now that I've found a simple workaround, the question is basically resolved for me. Thanks for the support.
P.S. Quick question in between: Is there a way to play a group in sequence (F4) as a 'playlist'? If Take item 1 is taken offline then take item 2 starts automatically?

I always recreate text inside XPression and just use the PSD for the shapes, background, and and placement reference.
I usually eye-match the text as close as possible so that it is dynamic inside XPression.
Since I do that stagger acts as usual, probably why I haven't come across this but pivot position interpretation would make sense with the images.
Is there a reason you don't want to be able to change the text live?

Yes, the layers are rasterized, and some parameters work smoothly, but not all of them. After trying various things, I believe the issue lies in how XPression interprets the position data and the pivot of a PSD file. I'll attach a short video again, in which this can be observed. Or does this just happen on my side? The quickest workaround I found is also demonstrated in the video.

I tried on a psd of my own and it appears to work.
Are those layers rasterised in your PSD?

Cool. Then I will add this video here. During the first playback, the animation is on a text field. During the second run, I used the textures imported through the PSD and placed them manually on self-created quads. During the final run, you can see the imported PSD. Quads are created automatically and the textures are applied. The effect does not work here.

Hello everyone,
I haven't seen any videos in any of the discussions here. Therefore, I assume that this is not allowed? As a result, I will try to express my issue in writing. As the title suggests, my topic is about a Stagger Animation in XPression. I create a text object with the words "Simple Stagger Animation Text" and add an animation to it. Similar to the University video, I use the values "Scale Y" and "Alpha." This works perfectly for the text object.
However, I now want to animate objects as well, since I'm dealing with rasterized text in the form of a logo. If I add a quad, assign a PNG texture to it, then create a group with all the quads and apply the animation to them, this also works.
Nevertheless, when I import a PSD file where each letter is a separate layer, and all objects are placed directly into the PSD file group, the Scale parameter in the Stagger Animation doesn't work. Just the Alpha Parameter works, everything else looks like it is "falling from the top".
XPression saves imported PSD textures as TGA files. If I use these on self-inserted quads, it works flawlessly again.
The significant advantage of importing a PSD file is that the sizes and positions are already set correctly, which can save a lot of time and frustration depending on the content.
Is this a "bug" or am I missing something? Is there a workaround? If it's unclear what I mean, I'd be happy to send a 45-second video via a cloud link.
Best regards,
Phil
