You can't do it in Stagger Animations, you need to animate H Spacing in Scene Director.

Unfortunately you can't animate HSpacing in the animation controllers/scene directors as that is not an option that comes up when setting your keyframes.

I was intrigued by your request so I had a little play and made the project attached. 

It animates the font scaling directly so you'll need a specific font for each item you want to animate individually. 

Also be aware its using "OnRender", I would test any scene using this quite a bit.

Because "OnRender" can be demanding I also made this version that uses "OnSetText" instead and then used a format float to reduce the decimal places so it doesn't update as often, you could use this to control how smooth the animation is as well which is pretty cool.

I have almost the exact goal as Jordan, to animate h spacing but I don't even need it to have middle pivot. However I'm struggling to import your xpfs. I'm on 10.5 build 5508 - can it be a version issue?
