So we have a video file that we use as a stinger, it loads in preview and pauses, then when we take it on air it's suppose to continue playing out. 95% of the time this works perfectly.

But sometimes, when it goes to air it will freeze and have to be manually taken off. There's no rhyme or reason as to when this happens, and even going back and playing it again immediately it will play normally.

We have xpression 11.0 build 5663. Anyone have any idea why this is happening?

If the video is coming from a network drive, it could be a network issue.

Our designer boxes have this issue sometimes. However, our Production boxes have a better network setup to the drives and thus no issues.

Just a thought.
