Production Switchers

Hi All, New to the Acuity Ultrix world. Long time Grassvalley and Sony Switcher user.

I have 3 outputs PGM - World feed, Me 1 - Regional Feed 1 and Me 2 - Regional feed 2.

I have setup the Bus follow for both ME's to follow programme but when i Cut to certain sources on PGM it needs to Substitute the region specific source to ME 1 and 2.

On the GVG and Sony there where Sub stitution Tables for this? HOw do i do this on Acuity

Welcome to the world of Ultrix Acuity! Hope you like it, and hope to hear good things... as well as areas where you think we can improve (which hopefully isn't too many).

To do substitution on Acuity, one way is to have different bus maps assigned to the PGM and MEs. So in your case, there will be a main bus map for PGM, and a slightly different bus map assigned to ME1 and another different bus map to ME2. For example...

PGM Bus Map - Button 1 - Input 1

ME1 Bus Map - Button 1 - Input 25

ME2 Bus Map - Button 1 - Input 17

So when you cut to Button 1 (Input 1) on PGM, the Acuity will substitute Input 25 on ME1 and Input 17 on ME2.
