I just noticed the "Recommended" button today after using the forum for months.
I would recommend changing position and display to make it more obvious. Maybe the all too common thumbs up? Position it to the left of the title maybe?
Also, it only gets color coded if you've clicked on it showing you voted on it, not that others recommend it.
What if there was a color range for 1-5 votes, 6-10,11-20,20+ so that a comment stands out? Right now it only stands out if you clicked on it.
Just an idea to help people find the useful content quickly.
