    Hello.

There is a SONY BRC-H900 PTZ camera and BRBK-IP10 card.

There is a need to manage the camera settings through the DashBoard.

If I understand correctly, I can add the camera to the main tree, but a license is required for management.

Is it possible to use the created CustomPanel without a license?

In CustomPanel, can I independently write commands, create buttons with the necessary functionality?

    Hi Sergii,

Yes, you will need a license for the Sony BRC-H900.  It is possible to create a custom panel to your liking, but it can be difficult if you don't know what you are doing.  It will take some time and practice to get it looking the way you like.

I would suggest contacting techsupport@rossvideo.com to provide you with a quote for the license.  They may also be able to direct you to Services or our Rocket Surgery team to create a Custom Panel for you.

    Thank you,

    Tim

    Hello Tim.

    Thanks for the answer.
    There is one more question.
I created a camera in DashBoard.
When I open it, I see this menu (photo is attached).

I checked the functionality. The result is that the POWER ON -OFF function works. PAN-TILT-ZOOM does not work
Why is this happening? Is this the need for a license?

    Hi Sergii,

I don't know if I've ever opened that tab, but I believe it is because of licensing.  What happens when you double-click REMOTE CONTROL?  This is typically what is used to control the camera.

    Hello Tim.

    Thanks for the answer.
If I double-click REMOTE CONTROL - it requires a license.
This is the menu that I sent the photo - SLot1 - right mouse button - OPEN.
From this menu some commands work.

    Hi Sergii,

I just realized I had not replied to you.  My apologies.  The menu you are seeing is the default menu, and some controls may work from this menu but this is not meant to control the PTZ.  If you want full control of a 3rd party camera you need to use Remote Control which requires a license.

    Hello Tim.

    Thanks for the answer.

I got an example of some commands (such as turning the power on and off, calling presets, pan-tilt), or rather, all the commands that are in the description for this camera from the manufacturer will work.
As an example, when calling a presset -
    ogscript.sendUDPAsBytes("192.168.101.47", 52381, "02 00 00 01 00 00 00 02 01");
    ogscript.sendUDPAsBytes("192.168.101.47", 52381, "01 00 00 07 00 00 00 1d 81 01 04 3f 02 02 ff")

I understand that with a license it is possible to manage a ready-made assembly.
But there is an idea to make a custom version, for example for several cameras at the same time.
Does this license add something from outside to the system, or does it simply overwrite references to execution?
If I take, for example, CustomPanel for PIVOTCam in edit mode, then I see that the commands are the same as for SONY.
