Production Switchers

The top row of our TD2 is experiencing some display issues (video attached).
The first 5 OLED (or whatever they are!) buttons go dark when pressed. These buttons also don't display the shifted cross points, however you can change to the source you want. Actual functions are fine. It's only a display issue. I can't confirm if splitting the display clears or causes the issue since the Dashboard button to set that is gone (bug reported).

This apples to whatever ME-MiniME is delegated and only appears in the top button rows.

I know that you have a lot of experience of our products and this does sound very strange. Have you tried the control panel diagnostic test to check to see if everything is working okay on the panel? If not, then it does sound like it might be worth doing. You could also call our TechSupport@rossvideo.com Team to help you. Something this strange may suggest a control panel issue.

To close the loop on this if you are tracking it, I was about to do a show so I didn't want to restart the panel. I didn't even think of running a diagnostics so thanks for mentioning that .. I'll do that next time. The "failed" buttons progressed to the ME PP row and those crosspoints didnt work at all! The LED display was black (no color) and there were no sources in those locations. I lost 2 cameras. Slight panic there. I reloaded the show file and everything came back and remained stable. 

We did the TD 2.0 and Carbonite 7.1 update today, which was preplanned and that went without any problems. The upgrade process is well designed.

I'm a bit disappointed that this version of software still has the bug (?) where transition rates are not stored in memories. I sent my list to Les .. I'm sure he'll be thrilled to hear from me! :)

I have forwarded this thread to the dev team. 

the bug is obviously not completely fixed as they thought..

Did you restore each memory with the transition rate after the upgrade? It's the only thing I can think of that might be required.. otherwise yeah it's going to need to be looked at again.
