  • 1.  Template Data Visual Logic in ENPS Plugin

    Hi,

    So I created visual logic for certain template data values to show up when selected. (Example, live location on shows up if the live flag is on.)

    It works in the sequencer within Xpression. But when I open the MOS plugin in ENPS all option are viewable at once. And the color coding I created is not there.

    Is there an option I need to have checked somewhere?

    I am guessing its the order of operation. 

    In the plugin you only see one frame. 

    I am guessing the order your tabs are in can not be completed in one frame so you don't see the desired results. 

    Visual logic tabs render from left to right in order.

    Ok, so I guess what is the point of the Visual Logic:Show in template editor? I thought it would update in real time when a selection is made.

    Yeah that should work, my guess is its relying on something that isn't getting resolved in time.

    What is that "showintemplatedata" relying on being resolved to know if to show or not? 

    Is anything it relies on knowing happening in a tab that's after the template show logic tab? 

    Also even if its in the same tab is there anything with the tab it relies on that's below or to the right of the logic to show or hide?

    So example in our talent lower thirds. The fields are filled in by an Excel sheet.

    The producer then should be able to decide what's in the subtitle row by selecting between Email, Twitter, Facebook.

    I have visual logic then displaying the corresponding template value in case something needs to be changed. But right now all the values for the choices are visible at once.

    Is your XPression MOS system running the same version and build as your Designer? The Gateway, PreviewEngine and plugins (if using ActiveX)? 

    Are you using the HTML5 MOS plugin?

    This was it. Thank you. Apparently the MOS plugin on the computer I use most hasn't been updated.

    It does work as intended elsewhere.
