Thanks Aaron! The MiniME option worked perfectly.

Hi Scott,
You certainly can have text display over a camera shot. There are 2 parts to achieve this.
1. The source of the text
- This could come a computer running a display software like Powerpoint or ProPresenter.
- If the text does not change often, you could also create the text as an image (preferably with an alpha) and drop it into one of your Carbonite's MediaStore channels.
2. Operations
- You would then put the video input (of the text) on a Key, and use either Self Key (if the text has no alpha) or Auto Key (if there is an alpha channel).
- Then turn on this key whenever the camera in the other venue is put on-air.
- Or a nicer way to do this is to use a miniME (your Carbonite has 4 of them) and key the text in the miniME.
- Then on your Carbonite panel, replace(or add) the crosspoint button of the other venue's camera with the miniME.
- So now when you select the crosspoint button, the text comes along with it and there are no additional steps of turning on (and off) the key.
Hope this helps!
