The extreme had a breakout unit and the time code had its own 3 pin connector. It was never part of the BB sync.
there is no other way to get LTC into the switcher frame except for serial

Thank you Les.
Some years ago I were able to lock timecode to an eXtreme frame with Carbonites cards in it by inserting timecode in the BB-signal. I know that it was a bigger system then this stand alone switcher is, but do you think this frame would be able to lock to the same type of signal, and then again to the timecode?

You will need to do it 0 based and then Offset it afterwards. There are no other available Time Code to Serial Adapters.

Subject: Time code in - Carbonite Black 113 Frame
Hi,
I have a Carbonite Black 113 frame (CBF-113 PN: 4840AR-204-01) that I want to get EDLs from. To do this I need to get timecode into the frame. This can be done with the help of TSC-9902, but this unit seems to be end of life and not a lot of units on the 2nd hand market either.
Do anyone know of any units out there for sale or some other way of getting timecode into the mixer?
Appreciate all help, Trond.
