  • 1.  Touchdrive Source Button TSL Mnemonic

    I have a Touchdrive 2S connected to a Carbonite Ultra running 9.2.2.19659. I have configured the Carbonite to receive TSL 3.1 names from our Ultrix and would like to know if the use of these names on the Touchdrive LCD source mnemonic buttons or soft panels is selectable? Currently once enabled, the input text on the TouchDrive or soft panel is ignored and replaced on the button with the TSL name. On the Carbonite MV, the user is able to select the whether the label is Fixed, Switcher, Router, or Both. Is there an option similar to this for the source buttons? In our case we would like to use both the switcher and router labels on the MV and only the switcher labels on the bus source buttons.

    No that is not possible.

    You are forcing that name by selecting the TSL UMD ID and setting it to use the Name.  That is what is telling the switcher to use that name on the panel.
