  • 1.  Touchdrive TD1 Joystick(Positioner) does not work

    Hi to everyone! 

    I did some internet research on the following problem which I encountered after performing upgrades on our Touchdrive Panel as well as the Carbonite Ultra.

    I upgraded the panel to the latest software of 7.1.6, including dashboard on the panel (SW: 9.7.0). The process ran normal and everything works fine, except for the Positioner/Joystick on the panel. 

    On the status page it reads "Joystick not connected" and in fact, it doesn´t do anything (moving layers oder keyers f.e). 

    I already did a reset on the panel and a second installation of the firmware, but still no response from the positioner.

    After checking the manual, I was hoping to find some help and information from you guys! No working positioner isn´t really a disaster, regarding my workflow, but still.. would be very nice to get it back to running like it did!

    Can you help me out here?

    PS: as you can see, I attached the logs and they are named after the date, but the year is wrong. I actually just downlaoded them from the panel today..

    This sounds like the cable is not connected or the joystick has failed.

    Best to open a ticket with support.
