Camera Motion Systems

Hi -

We recently upgraded our studio to use the Artimo peds. Previously, we had a Furio Curved system (on track) that we would track using the Ross UX VCC software. 

Is it possible to use this same software to track Artimo ? I didn't see Artimo as a selection in the drop down menu and I also realize that it's older software.

Hi Steve, unfortunately no.  UX VCC is quite old and it is not possible to use this software to track Artimo. Currently FreeD is the preferred method for tracking Artimo, but the tracking is not as precise as we would like. An external tracking system like Stype or MoSys will provide the accuracy required.

Bettering the existing Artimo tracking is in the roadmap for the near future. It is currently undergoing improvements by our R&D team.
