Ah okay. Is there a username and password associated with a local account on the TouchDrive? In order to authenticate the SCP connection?

You will need to use SCP (Secure Copy Protocol) from an application like WinSCP and connect to the panel from another PC. Then you will be able to navigate the folders to those files and delete the ones you don't want.
Dashboard does not really have the ability to Delete files.

Ah wow, can't believe we missed that! Thanks for the very helpful screenshots too.
As a follow up,do you know how I would delete a .grid file saved into the home folder? I've ended up with a bunch of test ones I can't get rid of. I've tried right clicking on them in the file navigator and clicking "remove" but they seem to re-appear after a power cycle.

This is how you can do it with the file on a USB connected to the TD panel.
Click on File and the Open File:
Select your Drive - Then the Grid File and finally Click OK
Now with your panel Open you can Click on the File - Save As
Now Click on the dropdown in the Save UI and move to the touchdrive folder (this is like the User Documents.
Then you can Save it to that location
Note that I had already saved this to "verify" that this does work :) so in my example it looks like the file is already there ...
------OPTIONAL----------
If you wanted you could also have opted to make a Folder in this location instead of saving to the root of the user folder -- ie a DBAPP Folder to put your DashBoard Panels in..
Then we would Click to Save it here.
Now you can Close your "usb copy" that was open. We will now add the Folder Location to the File Viewer:
You now have that Folder and all of it's contents available to you for opening locally.
Remove the USB and Test :)
And there we go USB out and my Panel is now local.

Hi there!
I have created a routing soft panel using a dashboard instance running on a PC, and I'd like to transfer this onto the TouchDrive Dashboard touchscreen. If I connect an external hard drive to the TouchDrive, I can see it in the File Navigator in Dashboard. How do I then copy these files onto the TouchDrive's internal memory, so the external hard drive doesnt need to be plugged in all the time?
Thanks!
