  • 1.  Tria Express Duet - control playlists remotely (Dashboard)

    Hi!

    We're currently setting up our new Tria Express Duet and I can't seem to find any way to control playlists remotely, preferably from Dashboard (like we did previously on our Blackstorm).

    We have our Tria server in another room from our control room (dedicated server racks, but on the same LAN), and we're gonna be doing a very video-playlist heavy production in a months time. 

    Is there any way to make this happen?

    Hi Erik,

    You have a few options:

    • Use Windows Remote Desktop to connect to the Tria server
    • Use RossTalk from Dashboard.  The playlist commands were added to the latest SW version 9.2.0
    • you can also use a switcher if you have one
    • other methods like TeamViewer, or similar connectivity SW.

    Hi, we are now on software 9.2.0, so I'm trying to use the RossTalk commands in order to get the buttons we need in Dashboard. I've never programmed Rosstalk commands before, and I can't seem to find any information on how to program them into Tria. Do you have any resources I can use in order to learn RossTalk?
