Hi Matthew,
Thanks for the clarification.
I have verified what you mentioned that DB shows striped TC as opposed to LTC. I have opened a case for the dev team, but due to resources, not sure when this be on the list of things to be worked on and the option be added.
Also, I will look into if showing a semi-valid TC is possible when the file is growing.
Thanks,
Bez.

Subject: Tria+ timecode in Dashboard
I've got a Tria+ that I'm using for time-slipped playback. I want to create a custom Dashboard panel showing timecode of a specific channel. I've added the Tria to the device list. I figured the easiest way to do this would be to drag and drop from the "Palette" panel on the Tria. This works great for standard closed files what we're playing back. These have a set runtime, so the playhead position and time remaining are always accurate. However, when I'm showing a growing file, the timecode behaves oddly on the remaining time. It looks like it's using the video length at the time it's loaded into the the channel to calculate remaining time. Once you pass that time you get weird values like the attached image. In the case of our time-slipped videos, I don't actually care about the file timecode anyway. I'd prefer the striped timecode we get from LTC. This displays just fine in the Tria Explorer application showing the playhead at an LTC timecode based on TOD of the recording. And as a bonus, what I'm really after, the clip remaining time stays basically in place (give or take a couple frames as the file grows) showing me how far I'm time-slipped. I can't figure out how to see this view in Dashboard. I'd love some help on this.
