  • 1.  TSL communication between Ultrix FR5 and Panasonic UCU 600

    Hi, 

    I got a FR5 with Ultrix Acuity and Panasonic UCU 600 CCUs. 

    Until now the tallys are feeded to the CCU with contact closurure (Sub D output of a SDPE blade) 

    Tally is well working on the switcher and on ultriscape.

    I would like to switch to TSL. On my CCU I see that in the menu I can setup an ID and the port is 62000.

    On my ultrix I see that there is a TSL server runing with the router IP on port 4492. 

    Could you please tell me how to make the TSL be send form the ultrix to my CCUs (I have sevral CCUs each with a specific IP and TSL ID)

    The Ultrix TSL Output is for sending Labels only.

    This is how external Carbonite Switchers and Graphite are able to be "told" what sources are on the outputs being routed to them. 

    There is not Tally state of the source being on air carried via that connection.

    If you would like to have a Tally Control system then that will need to add Ultritally to your system and it would be calculating the tally state and then providing the solution to the endpoints.

    Hi Boris, you should be sending the TSL tally from the Acuity SDPE Blade. We did this in our truck with a Carbonite SDPE Blade.

    On the 'devices' tab, you make a device for each CCU and the point the IP address to the UCU600.
