  • 1.  Ultriscape Head - route audio to head?

    I have an Ultrix/Ultriscape head where the multiviewer is being sent off-site for monitoring.  Is it possible to route embedded audio from a specific SDI source to the Ultriscape head destination while maintaining the multiviewer video or will trying to perform this kind of routing on a head break something?

    I've been looking through the manual but I may be searching for the wrong verbiage or terms as I'm not specifically hitting on anything in regards to my question.

    Hi Brett,

    Thanks for the question. 


    Yes, if you create a router panel in dashboard that includes the physical output that you are using for Ultriscape you can route any source to that destination. For example if you are displaying Ultriscape 1 on Slot 1 output 1, add that specific port as a routeable destination in your panel. 


    The ultriscape process will override the video route but any audio you route to that destination will be embedded on the output.
