Hi Paul
instead of changing the existing destinations you can quickly add in the new ones.
In the database editor select the destinations tab
Use the edit button to select the fill tool to add in your new PIP destinations.
in my example below I am using Slot 1 Head 1.
However.....If you want to re-assign the IO you can select the ports in the audio level with the Shift button. And then assign all of the audio channels you need.
2 warnings before you start
- Export your database before doing this. Go to "System Status" then use the transfer menu to eport your Database to your computer.
- You cannot create duplicate destinations. If a port is used on a destination you will not be allowed to use it again. You will see a warning pop up appear if this is the case.
In my example here I have selected all 16 Audio channels on all of my 24 pips on Slot 1 Head 1 (in the center of the screen.)
Then I selected all 16 audio channels on all 24 pip destinations on Slot 1 Head 2 (From the right) Selecting "Assign" and then "apply" has changed all of the destinations I selected.

Subject: UltriScape PiP sources Database Editing workflow best practice
I moved one of my UltriScape heads to another port.
Now I need to edit the database for the PiP sources.
What is the best method to efficiently edit all of those PiP's audio sources?
Is there an Excel work flow?
