  • 1.  Ultriscape unassigning follows from PIP's

    I have two Ultrix 5ru's running 6.3.0. We have a lot of pips that are doing destination follows. On occasion on each system, the pips with destinations follows will switch from displaying the follow to just having the source that was last assigned to that destination. Then we will have to go back through ultriscape and reassign the destination follows. Is this a known software issue?

    Hi Shane,

    Are you assigning Desitnation Follows through the Ultriscape head selection or the Destination Follow database menu?

    The Desitnation Follow function in Ultriscape is being deprecated, and will be removed as of version 6.5. I'd recommend migrating your destination follows to the Database Destination Follow menu, and setting all Pips to Normal in the Ultriscape Head Selection menu.

    Here, you can generically assign any destination as a Follow, in addition to Pip destinations.
