    I always feel like my questions might be VERY silly, but I'm tasked with keeping the engine running, not driving the bus, so I'll park my pride and dignity and ask ...

    I have a Multiview labelling issue ...

    We have many Salvos configured by various users.  One in particular (cleverly named BARS) sends a test signal (Bars & Tone from Slot1 I/P #2) to all outs and to every PiP. 

    When the Salvo is executed - we see lovely bars on all PiPs (as expected), each PiP on each Multiview bears the label 'Bars' - everyone is happy. 

    Now, when we grow weary of watching the lovely Bars, and a different Salvo is run, the PiPs content all change as expected, but for some reason, the labels on our Multiview remain unchanged - displaying "Bars" (when "CAM1", "CAM2" etc is expected).   It seems to only happen on Slot1Head1 ... and I'm suspecting it's something really silly and I'm being ever so slightly sillier by not being able to identify it.

    It's an Ultrix FR5 running 5.6.3

    Any ideas of where the source of this unusual behavior might lie?

    Hi Declan,

    This is posted in the Production Switcher section not the Ultrix or "Connectivity" section where the better experts regarding that product will be able to offer ideas.

    @Mike Pomerleau if you could also have a look at this and maybe offer some ideas as well?

    When you fire the slavo that does not set the names back like you expect -- if you then go and manually Route the Pips from a Softpanel or physical/ultritouch panel .. ie switch CAM 1 to CAM 2 then back to CAM 1 do the names track then?  Or do they stay on BARS?  How do you get the names back to the the correct name now?

    Hi Les,

    Thanks for the response and apologies for getting my groups mixed up :(

    I think it may be a support ticket as it seems that currently the system doesn't let us rectify the problem - as in we can't rename the PiPs.  I might simply create a new layout and see if the original has become corrupt somehow.  If it doesn't rectify the issue, I can pop open a support ticket.
