  • 1.  Ultrix SFP statistics

    Hi,

    I know that the Ultrix MODX and HDX boards are capable of displaying details of a connected SFP. How well does this work with non Ross SFPs or very new SFPs?

    Does the Ultrix have a database saved for the SFPs, or will it read this information from the SFP?

    For example, I have a few SFPs which are displayed as such in MODX, SFP-Module.

    Hi Dominic,

    the Ultrix and ModX cards should be able to read that information directly off of the SFP's themselves. 

    Can you tell me what SFP is displaying this message?

    Hi Mike,

    The customer is using an OEM from Embrionix. The SFP itself is a 3G-SDI Duplex Fiber Transceiver 40km CWDM with a wavelangth of 1290nm.

    The SFPs were produced only last month.
