Thanks for the clarification. Then I hope that the new version will also fix the issue while Ultrimix is disabled.

Hi Dominic,
That is an interesting detail. Our tests only involved Ultrimix enabled, so I will need to sync up with our development team to see if that issue could overlap with this configuration.
Regarding your question, when Ultrimix is disabled you only need to have a single level database because embedded audio will follow video automatically. The audio bypass setting is for setups with Ultrimix enabled where you want to force an input to pass its embedded audio directly to the output, which also removes any audio processing settings as it routes around the audio processing fabric.

Hi Kevin,
I'm not sure if I have the same issue or if it appears in a different way as well. In my configuration UltriMix is deactivated an Audio Bypass is enabled, so ther should be no breakaway performed.
The incomming signal has audio embedded and is not routed seperatly. Though the Ultrix might think it is as an external controller can only control 1 Level and audio follows it.
I'm not sure if my setup would then hvae been correct. Should the database have alle Audio Levels with UltriMix disabled or would audio still be routed correctly without the audiolevels but with bypass enabled?

Hi Dominic,
This is a known issue if a video input is disconnected and an audio breakaway is performed on the destination (audio originates from a different source than the disconnected input). It is fixed in the upcoming Ultrix-Ultricore version 6.5.0 release. I will open a ticket for you in our ticketing system and follow up as soon as the new release is available.

Yes, the levels stay frozen and the image is black. Though it doesn't happen always, in some cases the meters update and then show no audio, as is expected.

I think @Mike Pomerleau @Kevin Davis might be able to comment on this -- are the levels just frozen or are the still updating like some audio is active?

Hi community,
In recent tests with an Ultrix on v6.4.1 we noticed that the Audiometers on PiPs within Ultriscape would show audio after a video siganl was disconnected form the input.
Is that something that is known or expected? Or does someone know if it's a setting error I've made?
Regards,
Dominic
