It is not the TD panel software .. This is on the "frame" side telling it what to display when switched back.
We will look to get this addressed with an update to the frame software.

We are able to recreate this here -- the Menu is always selecting Key 1 when the panel delegation is changed between MEs.
This previously was setting the menu back to the Selected Keyer. for know you are correct you need to select a different Key then switch back.

The Menu is showing that it is attached to Key 1 of ME 1.
Those buttons on the Left side are set via the User Buttons on personality menu. It seems like maybe that button that is labeled Key 2 on the panel is not key 2 anymore but rather key 1.
You don't show in your video pressing one of the other key buttons and then press the button labeled Key 2 again so it's also hard to tell what it is doing.
There are Key Select buttons in the Keyer control area above the cut and auto buttons. I am not sure why they would be assigned on the panel row unless it is because previously using Carbonite panels and being accustom to this.
