At this time, Ultriscape does not perform any conversion of HDR, and connot be configured to generate an HLG output directly. As such it will not signal the monitor that the content is HLG. You will need to manually force the monitor to HLG mode to properly display the HLG/BT2020 signal; many SDI/HDMI converters and montors have options to force HDR modes.
Of course, mixing HDR (HLG) sources and SDR sources in different PIPs will be a compromise, as the individual PIPs are not converted at the multiviewer layout.
For system-wide conversion of sources or destinations to/from HLG, you can use our Ultriproc and Ultriproc-3DLUT options. You can read more about these options here: Ultrix Licenses.
