Does anyone have a way of clearing the Xpression buffers from Ignite?
Either All buffers or individual channels/buffers.

In Ignite version 7.1+ you should have the Display Page clear command that can select channel ID to clear.

This will send either the Y\xCA\\ command or the X\clear\channelID\\ commands depending on your Ignite version.

The clear command will take the XPression graphic offline with NO animation. If you want to trigger XPression graphics offline with an animation you need to build your XPression graphics with pauses that you resume, and the XPression graphic timeline will have a offline command built into it. So Ignite will trigger the graphic, and then resume it to take it offline.

I don't recall how the Nexstar gfx package is built.

In Ignite version 11.1.3+ (which I strongly recommend you have for XPression control) - you should have the DisplayPage clear comamnd, AND (I think) another command I don't know the name of that sends X\TAKEOFFLINE\takeID\. The TAKEOFFLINE command will trigger the OUT animation of the graphic, triggering the transition logic out animations built into the graphic template.

Ignite v11.1.3+ is also required for triggering the preview channel of XPression from Ignite - using the X\UPNEXT command.

Oh and if you are forced to do the resume method for taking a graphic offline then the RESUME command is called ReleasePause in Ignite. Which sends either Y\<name>xF8\\ or X\RESUME\channelID\\ depending on your Ignite version.

And if you're trying to use the T channel features in Ignite that usually takes a bit of special configuration in the XPression MOS Gateway virtual channel map to get it working correctly.

    Hi Gary,

I'm not sure I follow, are you saying add CLEAR as the direct load page within Ignite?

I don't know for sure, I am just going off documentation that the Grass Ignite team has sent me and what I have observed over Ignite operator shoulders
