Thanks Les! I haven't been on the forums in years since I went to the maintenance department, and then went to a station that didn't use Ross gear. Now I'm back to directing old-school on a Vision switcher, so I'm glad to see you are still here and helping people!
When I get some switcher time to work on this I'll report back if what I am trying to do works.
Thanks again!

You will need to use the attributes menu to disable all of the elements including Buses that you do not want to change.
But yes you can do this in a memory.
Before you store the ME 4 Memory press the Attributes button and toggle the items you don't want to change.

basically turn everything off but the Transition Area Button then Save the memory.

Subject: Vision Switcher: Creating a Custom Control that modifies Wipe parameters
I don't think there's a way to do this, but I have to ask.
On a Vision switcher, is there a way to create a custom control that modifies wipe parameters?
We have a board wipe that is a specific pattern, and I have it set up with a Custom Control on ME4 so I don't have to use an MLE. I also want to create a white flash board wipe on ME4, so when I create the Custom Control for that and I manually change the wipe parameters, then try the first wipe again, it will change the pattern but nothing else.
I know that wipes need to be saved with memories, so my next question would be, can I save a memory on ME4 that doesn't affect PGM/PST and keyers, and only changes the wipe pattern, that I can call up as part of my custom control?
Thanks in advance.
