How are we going with getting this fixed. Its pretty bad.

Yes there is an issue with Super White Clipping in the 1/5 sized Boxes. If you use another size of box it won't happen.
Another option is to turn on an Input Proc Amp on sources like this. you don't have to change a value just add it to a source and turn it on. Proc Amp will then keep the video from going into clipping.

Anyone else have this problem where any over-exposed signals clip to black in the VP multiview (this doesn't appear on the I/O Multiview). It doesn't appear on the preview or PGM bus, but its a real distraction. It goes away if you turn on a ProcAmp or CC on the input for some reason.
Here's the multiview with a white title slide coming from a laptop:
Notice the black on the white icon in the source window, but it's not present in the preview window. Here's an example with a camera:
