  • 1.  What does "Get Clips" actually do on a Carbonite Custom Control?

    Hello Carbonite Geniuses,

    I am playing around with Custom Controls for External Devices and found something I can't wrap my head around: "Get Clips" found in Devices -> Video Server.   What does this actually do when triggered from our Carbonite switcher?  Is it similar to a "Get Clip List" to retrieve all the clip names on a playback server?  If so, where does that list go on the switcher?  Is it displayed or saved somewhere?  Are there any practical uses for "get clips" when working with the Tria+ in our system? 

    Thanks for your wisdom.  Help Menus and Google Searches are rather barren on this function.

    its only on the physical panel miniMenu ...  when you run get clips it will update the list and then from the Knob you can scroll through the list it brought into the system.
