What are you trying to do with the list of take items? I don't know of a way to detect multiple selections in the sequencer at once via API (xpSequencer.getFocusedTakeItem will only return a single result, and there's no xpTakeItem.isSelected to check for). But if you're just looking to get a list of items out of the sequencer for a font coord or something like that, File (Sequencer) > Take Item List > Export To... will give you the option to save your selection as a .txt or .csv file that simply contains take item numbers and names rather than the usual take XML.
