Hello everyone,
I'm considering an upgrade and I have a quick question for the community.
Has anyone here successfully installed XPression CG version 6 on Windows 11?
If so, I'd really appreciate it if you could share your experience regarding stability.

Does XPression CG v6 run reliably, or have you encountered any significant issues (crashes, glitches, driver conflicts, etc.) on Windows 11?
Any input would be highly valuable before I proceed!

Is this than XPression output engine with an SDI card? Or a designer/developer workstation?

Do you have a Ross part number? Depending on your hardware it might not have TPM compatibly to go to Windows 11. 

I expect v6 will have the same issues in Windows 11 as it will in Windows 10, but I have not tried it. 

When you run v6 on Windows 10 you could/will come across:

• Material previews not working 
• some scene thumbnails not working
• some dialog boxes can get stuck behind the main XPression window
• maybe encounter some UI scaling issues (make sure you run Win10/Win11 at 100% text scaling) 

It usable but you will have some issues. 

If you are on 6.5 build 3561 or higher, and have a matrox card, then matrox driver version 9.4.2.9297 is the newest you could use, that MIGHT (but might not) work on Windows 11. 

XPression v8+ would be the oldest version of XPression you would ideally try to run on Windows 11.

XPression v11+ would be the best/supported version of XPression to use with Windows 11.
