I am trying to build a custom panel in DashBoard to control all the live stats for our sports broadcast. We use SideArm sports which comes through as a XML and I have already setup the link into the particular player lower thirds and scoreboard stat pop-ups but I want to be able to control certain text objects and their user input controls from dashboard. Essentially certain stat linked graphics have text objects connected to Global Lists in the project, such as the Player Number, 3 Stat Selections, and Visitor or Home. I want to be able to create an intuitive way in a Custom Panel on DashBoard for an operator to change the User Input controls to then change it in Xpression itself therefore changing the graphic. Also being able to take that graphic they are controlling off and on air, along with getting previews of the different graphics they are updating. Is this possible to do? Or would the lists need to come from the custom panel itself? 

So you could make a dropdown list of global lists names in dasboard and link that to a text object in XPression and then use that text object as the global list name.

A lot of people don't realise that macros are allow as global list names eg @globallistname@ so you can have a varible global list.
