  • 1.  Xpression Freezing

    Hey, my xpression freezes every time I try and go into my hardware setup and becomes unusable until I restart xpression …does anyone have any ideas why that might be?

    I would try restarting the software. Sometimes it does hang for a beat when changing hardware.

    If this is impacting your on-air production, please open a support ticket. 

    I assume this is an output engine XPression? Like Studio? 

    Can you send a pic of hardware setup input/output tab?

    The most common cause of the hardware setup page freezing is having unconfigured SDI inputs. So any one or a combo of the following changes could resolve:

    • Just delete the inputs if you aren't using them
    • Change the format of the input from <auto detect> to the correct format
    • Set the input to Active
