It should be:
Always up and down, never left-right. If you select the text at all, it will think you're selecting it, and then you can't scrub it.
You can click and hold as you're entering the text box, from there, drag straight up and down.
If you need to revert the value to where it previously was before you clicked into the text field, you can double click the value (as long as you haven't clicked outside of the text field)

I went back and tried this. We have the ActiveX controls.
Definitely not intuitive. A lot of funkiness depending on whether or not numbers are highlighted and which side of the decimal you are on, depending on the number.
Highlight the number, click and drag up and down, NOT side to side.

Are you using the HTML5 (Dark Blue) plugin, or the ActiveX (Light Gray) plugin?
On the ActiveX, you can do the click and drag to slide the numbers.
On HTML5, when selected in the number field, you can use the up and down arrows to move a small amount, and the left and right arrows to move a larger amount

Does anyone know of a way inside the Xpression MOS plug-in for INews how to "turbo" slide when changing the valves for something. I'm trying to find a way like we can do within the Xpression software when you click and hold and move your mouse when changing the value for X. Right now you have to manually type in a number or click the arrows. Holding the arrow down or up doesn't change anything.
The current version we are using is 11.5.5812 Xpression MOS plug-in
Hope that makes sense.
