  • 1.  Xpression Live Video not working

    Hey all, I have my live video input set and material made, the Matrox card is detecting it correctly and I verified I have video going to it (checked the cable to a test monitor) but when I apply the live source material to a quad, it's just black, am I missing something?

    Trying to test this out so we can key a live clock over a graphic.

    Do you see the live input video inside the XPression Record client? 


    Have you set the input format in hardware setup?

    The record client does see the video and the input say "initializing", yesterday I swear it said active, I don't know the difference there or how to make it active.

    Hardware setup will show the input as "Active" when:
    - the input is active in the record client
    - the input is active in the viewport
    - the input is active on a rendered output
    - the "keep input active" setting is enabled 

    So you see the video input in the record client but not in your material/viewport? 
    Can you send some screenshots of the setup of your material and scene?

    This will sound dumb but I did a system restart and everything is working as expected now.
